Rube Goldberg Machine
Sophomore Year Project
This project was a lot of fun to create. We worked with a small group to create a 10 step Rube Goldberg machine, with at least 3 different types of power transfers. It helped me learn to communicate with my group and something I personally found fun was the video making process.
Engineering Ethics
Junior Year Project
We were each given an incident that occurred over some engineering ethical violations. This was a very interesting project to do as we hadn't seen the ethical and more "biased" aspects of engineering too much yet. I covered the Chernobyl incident where there were several instances of neglecting protocol and poor design choices that ended up resulting in the tragedy that was Chernobyl
